Hi, I’m Marikka – your guide to the quiet beauty of Nuuksio. I’m an entrepreneur and nature enthusiast based in the Greater Helsinki area, and I’ve spent countless hours walking these trails with my dog and kids, finding peace and inspiration in the forest. With over 20 years of experience in fast-paced corporate environments, I understand the value of stepping away to recharge.

I created these small-group experiences to offer visitors a gentle, authentic way to connect with Finnish nature – without rush or pressure. My approach is relaxed and personal: no microphones, no strict schedules – just time to slow down, listen to the forest, hear stories about our connection to it, and enjoy good coffee while the spruces whisper and birds sing.
